Handles & Comfort

Visible and concealed door openers

There are various options for opening doors, drawers and pull-outs. A popular and purist solution is the handleless option. Admirers of practical or decorative handles can choose from a wealth of different designs.

Timeless design and cubic form – perfectly resolved through TIP-ON. TIP-ON makes handles superfluous: A light tap easily opens doors and drawers with no complications.

Tip-On

A light press of the hand or knee is sufficient to open the pull-out or drawer: The mechanical TIP-ON door opening system provides great convenience. Even on tall and wide fronts, a large trigger area ensures that the TIP-ON mechanism always opens reliably. And the buffering system enables doors to be closed just as perfectly. A further benefit is the perfect join image without handles or ledges; With TIP-ON, purist blocks can be designed, whose front is disturbed by nothing – merely the thin join between the fronts can be seen.

Nothing disturbs – the cubist reduced form without handles or grip ledges cause purist hearts to race.

No handles, no grip ledges – the join image extends quietly throughout the entire kitchen. The cupboards can be opened with the easy TIP-ON function.

Single Line

Our single line front look enables an elegant  appearance thanks to reduced lines. The result is a front image that can be seen as a further development of an even clearer design style, more consistent lines and a more objective reduction. This option is limited to just one horizontal grip ledge profile below the worktop that is used for opening the first drawer or pull-out. The drawers/pull-outs below them are opened by means of the mechanical drawer/ pull-out opening system TIP-ON. The result is a reduced front appearance with aesthetic appeal.

Reduced lines – the combination of single line and TIP-ON ensure cleaner design and a focus on the essentials.

Handleless

Reducing things to the essentials

The kitchen is becoming more and more of a design object – with sleek fronts, a transition to the living room and special organisation features. A kitchen without handles offers clean lines and is calm and purist. Here the front is entirely in the spotlight, whether colourful, veneered or lacquered. Yes, the reduced lines are a hit with design fans, but thanks to the adjoining surfaces it’s also easier to look after than ever before. The aesthetic appeal of this special kitchen design provides an optimal transition to the living room and turns functional space into living space.

Special grip recesses are available for glass fronts, SensiQ fronts and ceramic fronts. They are made of the same material as the front. These handle options, which lie flush with the surface, allow for a kitchen front design that focusses purely on material and shape.

Handle options

Light or dark, voluminous or diminutive, striking or virtually invisible. An extensive selection of well-shaped handles coordinated with next125 design aesthetics is also available.

Colour also comes into play when it comes to grip ledge profiles. Plan them monochrome to match the front or deliberately select a contrast colour.

A handle with history

With its dark colouring and minimalistic design, this handle not only lends the kitchen a contemporary touch, but it is also an example of innovative recycling of plastic waste from the ocean. The special material OceanIX Plastic is obtained from old fishing nets, among other things, which are collected and then recycled into valuable plastic. The plastic waste is sourced in cooperation with NGOs, public authorities, collectors, ports, the maritime industry and fishermen, but also net and rope manufacturers worldwide. Our handle is therefore a small, first step on the way to a sustainable circular economy.

If you’d rather choose your handles individually, then you’ll need to be sure to select the right unit heights too. But there’s no need to worry – thanks to the 125 mm grid everything is set up logically and is easy to understand.
