Matera / Matera Colour
Seventy-six percent of the fully recyclable front material comes from the circular economy. Thanks to the reuse of materials and wood cascading, the fronts can be recycled at the end of their life cycle and used to produce new fronts.
OceanIX
NGOs, official authorities, collectors, ports, the maritime industry, fishers and net and rope manufacturers worldwide work together to collect and recycle plastic waste. The secondary raw materials obtained are what can be found in our OceanIX plastic handles, through which we want to help preserve valuable resources and prevent pollution of the seas. The OceanIX handle contains 50 to 70% OceanIX. The rest is made from additional recycled post-consumer material.
Linoleum
An environmentally friendly approach thanks to sustainable components
More than 80 percent of the raw materials used in its production grow back within a few years. As well as linseed oil, these include wood flour and a range of resins. The linseed oil is made from the seeds of the flax plant, while the wood flour comes from upcycled wood offcuts that would otherwise be disposed of. During the manufacturing process, a board made from wood-based materials is completely covered with linoleum. This enables next125 to once again achieve its ambition of creating a more environmentally conscious kitchen industry while fulfilling both the brand’s and the Schüller company’s broader sustainability goals.
Matt velvet lacquer surfaces
These tactile and visually attractive matt lacquer surfaces are created using the Dual Cure lacquer system with UV curing. We predominantly use water-based lacquers with significantly lower levels of volatile organic compounds. This means that they contain fewer hazardous substances and produce fewer emissions than solvent-based lacquers. Water-based lacquers are much more environmentally friendly as fewer fossil energy sources are required to make them.
